Meditation Classes for Beginners

Through training in meditation, we will discover powerful and practical methods to let go of negative feelings and instead develop positive, peaceful states of mind that will allow us to enjoy our life and become fearless in the face of life’s challenges.

All our classes and events are suitable for beginners and teach how to meditate and reduce stress, anxiety and other negative states of mind. Learn how to become peaceful, relaxed and happy through simple meditation techniques.

Gen Kelsang Dema

Resident Teacher at Chenrezig Buddhist Centre

Gen Kelsang Dema, resident teacher of Chenrezig Kadampa Buddhist Centre, has been a disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for 15 years.

She teaches in a very practical, clear and down-to-earth manner enabling people to easily apply newly gained knowledge in their daily life. Her good sense of humour and a relaxed manner come through in her illuminating teaching style.

Each class is self-contained so you can drop-in at any time. No need to book, just come along, relax and enjoy. There is no physical exercise involved – we sit on chairs unless you wish to sit cross-legged on the floor.
