Join this four week course to learn how depression and discouragement are types of mind that can be understood and transformed.  We don’t need to feel helpless, allowing them to rob us of our energy and joy.  Because everything loses its meaning when we become depressed or discouraged, such minds are actually quite dangerous.

On this course, we will explore practical methods to deal with depression and discouragement, using insights from Buddhist teachings to understand their causes and learn how to overcome them by developing and maintaining inner peace and mental strength.  In this way we can find a happy and meaningful life.  Everyone is welcome!

With Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Dao

The classes are self-contained so you can attend any week. Each class consists of two guided meditations and a Buddhist mindfulness teaching to help us solve our daily problems and find happiness. Beginners welcome.

These classes can be attended in-person only
